Save The Planet ?

Now all this crap about saving the planet by the big corporate companies is really beginning to grate on my teeth. Carbon Footprint ?? What the hell is that rubbish about?? Take the bigger supermarkets, especially the Co-Op. You spend fortunes and get to their checkouts, some herbert behind the checkout looks at you and asks " What you like a bag?" Errrmmmm..what the hell do they expect you to do, balnce all your shopping on your head to the car?

They 'say' they are trying to save the planet by getting you to 'recycle' your bags..ermmmm NOT. Its painfully straight forward to me, they are CUTTING THEIR COSTS and hiding this by hanging the 'saving the planet' tag on it. I really dont know why customers dont gang together and say if you dont provide us with bags like you ought to , then we take our custom somewhere else.

Gawd, in the USA if the shops dont freely provide a bag to carry your shopping home in the shops would be shut in a month. Its only the gullible British that let these big retail giants get away with this.

Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse ~ Am I the only sane person in seeing this woman for who she is? lets just run through a few points.

Firstly her voice, nothing special, hundreds of club, pub and other recording artists who have at least as good and probably much better voices. Her albums 'Frank' & 'Back to Black' are ok, JUST ok and nothing special. 'Valerie' is probably the best in a very mediocre bunch of songs.

Secondly , her looks. Ermmm where do I start ? She looks like she's fallen off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. She looks like she needs a wash. She needs her hair cutting, styling and getting straight. Clothes are direct from charity shops , dirty , scruffy & unkempt.

Thirdly Lifestyle ~ Drug addict , alcaholic , abuser / abused. A role model ? I hardly thnk so.

I know one thing that is good for her, and thats her publicist, her P.R. and record studio. They know their stuff and push this complete no-mark to the audience of sheeep that its obviously aimed at. Talk about 'Kings New Clothes' syndrome , gawd get this talentless scruffbag of a drug adict of our screens, radio and papers immediately.
