Monday 1st June 2009 Susan Boyle : Susan Boyle is a casualty of immediate fame. It doesnt take an Einstein to see that she is a council estate and simple mentality lady who has been blessed with a wonderful voice. What she finds impossible to come to terms with ( and its not her fault ) is the intense pressure of being interviewed on tv when a newby to fame is trying to say the right things, stand the right way, nod when supposed to, even though its not really what you want to say. You have to think 300% on your feet all the time, and bless her, Susan Boyle just cant do that because of the way she is. So she reacts in the only way she knows how, petualance , tempers, doesnt care what people think ( at a time thats EXACTLY what she should be doing ). The public turn on her because its what the public do. They only see what they see, not behind the screen. |
Wednesday 3rdJune 2009 Politics : Ok, this politicians expenses has been rumbling on for weeks now. Thanks goodness for the Telegraph for bringing this to our attention. My opinion is that these so called politicians have been milking the 'system' for years, and up until now theve been getting away with it. Thing is, the staggering extent that some ( most ) politicians in ALL main parties have been creaming funds they are in no way entitled to, should immediately lose their jobs, and be brought to a criminal justice court. The majority of the UK population feel the same way. Trouble with that is that I think that at least 8 out of every 10 MP's are guilty and, once they are all sacked, who is left? Who will be running the country? Today Hazel Blears has resigned, just another is the long list of resignations already, and where will it stop ? , my opinion is, as Ive already said that 8 out of 10 will resign in the long run. The country is in real dire circumstances , more dire that most times in the past. I feel the country will have no creditable government soon, and that included all the main parties. |
Thursday 4th June 2009 Britney Spears : Well , this lady has been through life's ups and down. yes, she came from humble beginings, trailer park mom & dad, through to 'pushy parent' stage, joined Timberlake at the Disney Corp, and onto Mickey Mouse club regular Saturday mornings. She looks great and sings just ok, through her nasal sounding vocals. My comment today is that she is , and has been for a long time taking her fans for a 'ride'. The definition of a global 'superstar' of which her people want us to believe is that the 'superstar' in question is beyond reproach in their chosen field of talent. Looking at her latest O2 tour, kicking off last night, she once again mimed through the majority of her set. She also did this on her recent embarassing performance on the UK X Factor tv show too.The kids who pay good money to see her expect more than someone dancing to a tune. Flash, brash showy sets and well choreographed dancers dont hide the fact the lack of live singing is a huge let-down. Above all that she evidently showed yet again a total disregard for her fans by not interacting with converstaion from the stage. Just a 'What's Up London ?' and that was after the NINTH song, then ' Thank-You London ' at the end shows absolute disrespect for her fans. Not Good. |

6th June 2009 Nicolas Sarkozy :
French president Sarkozy failed to invite The Queen to the
65th anniversary of D-Day. What an absolute disgrace. This will be the last time
that Britain's surviving veterans will celebrate that defining moment in our history.
Yet despite their heroism and that of their fallen colleagues, Sarkosy decreed
that it should be very much a 'Franco - American' occasion. No doubt he was worried
that the Queen's attendance would overshadow his attempt to curry favour with
President Obama , a man whose popularity he can only dream of attaining. His behaviour
is even more disgraceful to Britain given the hospitality the Queen showed him
and his strumpet of a wife on their recent state visit. Thank goodness protocol
has taken some common sense now , and that Prince Charles will be there if for
no other reason that to stick 2 fingers up to the deplorable little gnome who
owes his nation's very existence to our fallen heroes. |
Monday 8th June 2009 Public Urinating : How many times these days do you see people ( men ) urinating openly in full view of passing motorists at the side of the road. This disgusting behavious is staggeringly crass , unbelievably idiotic and what sort of self-respect must these half-wits have ? I see them all the time driving around the roads of Scotland, and personally I find it incredible any human being can have such little respect for not only themselves, but passing motorists who will have families in their cars. Okay, sometimes we all get caught short, most decent people find a public toilet to go in, but if one has to relieve themselves urgently, at least find a woooded area, and get as far away from the main road as you can. Don't just stand alongside the road, whip your todger out and start pee-ing. It's illegal for one thing, indecent acts in public. If I had my way I would take a pair of garden shears and chop their exposed bits off. |
Wednesday 17th June 2009 Latecomers : Okay, personal gripe here. Why, oh why dont people time their lives better ? Why is it that when a theatre performance is due to start at say, 7.30pm, you still have hundreds of people still arriving at 7.20pm expecting to get seated by start time?. Monday evening this week, for example, we were at the SECC in Glasgow to watch the live tour of Britains Got Talent. Curtain up was well advertised as being 7.30pm. At 7.10pm the auditorium was less than 1/3rd full. Tickets sold was way above 3000. At 7.12pm there was anever ending stream of public filing into the auditorium, same at 7.20pm, 7.25pm, 7.35pm, still coming in, resulting in the show starting nearly 15mins late. Having taken OUR seats by a respectable 6.45pm , to have to repeatedly stand up to let latecomers through and missing the impact of the opening of the show is aggravating to say the least. Why don't these people just leave earlier? Beggars belief. |
Friday 19th June 2009 Janice Dickinson : Okay, for those who don't know who Janice Dickinson is, she first came to fame over here when she appeared on the ITV1 reality show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. She is from America, loud mouthed and opinionated , but fun to watch on tv. In the jungle she manipulated everyone to do things for her, having ready made excuses regarding ill health, refusing to do any bush tucker trials, thinking of herself always. Guess what, she's pitched up in the USA version of 'Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' and she is doing EXACTLY the same thing. Lazy, cheating, sneaky and just a repulsive little female. Unfortunately she is also a walking advertisement for how NOT to have cosmetic surgery as her face is grotesque. Its a shame as she must have been at one time reasonably famous over in America , but Im afraid the name Janice Dickinson over here in the UK will always be seen as a loud mouthed arrogant fraudster who should never be allowed on tv. |
Sunday 21st June 2009 Caravaners: Well, it's got to have been coming a long time ago, but I have GOT to comment on caravaners. Okay, you save up for 50 weeks of the year to go on holiday, to go somewhere to be pampered, somewhere to get away from the everyday strains and stresses of everyday life. You go on holiday to see different things and experience new happenings. So what do these people do? They decide to take their home with them in the shape of their home on wheels. They decide in their infinate wisdom that they MUST have all what they do back home with them. Cooking, cleaning, washing-up, sleeping in their own bed linen, eating with their own plates and cutlery, doing the shopping as usual , going to the toilet and then having to carry their mess to dump it in a public utility somewhere. They have to find a field where there may even be public showers, even electricity points. Am I missing something ? What sort of a holiday is THAT ? Thik of the poor mum / wife who never gets a break away from what she has to do every day of her life. Thye may say its cheaper..ermmm. don't think so, all the fuel costs negate that theory. PLUS they are the bane of every decent motorist who gets stuck behind them, who feels like ripping their heads off each time they see them. It beggars belief that these people seem to think that caravaning is actually a holiday. My advice is GET TO A HOTEL !!! and enjoy a proper break. |
Sunday 28th June 2009 Micheal Jackson : Well, the greatest showman on earth has left the planet. No matter what crazy stuff Jackson got himself involved with in his life, the straight fact remains he was the GREATEST performer on the planet. No-one came remotely close to his musical talent, his dancing, his overall presence. He will be missed by hundreds of millions. He is, without doubt irreplacable , the most famous man on the globe and I for one will miss his supreme talent. Rest In Peace Jacko , the solar system is now truely blessed by the greatest talent in the universe and the brightest star can moonwalk across the moon. |
