| I have had 30 years experience in the entertainment , marketing and leisure business. From 1980 through until 1990 I started my career as a cabaret artist working clubs in North Wales, before moving into holiday parks , having 8 years experience an entertainments manager/ compere.In this time I have had extensive management & marketing experience within the holiday, coach ,hotel and leisure business.I have booked and managed artisits in the past and always work within budget . Since 1990 I have been running my own entertainment business providing professional entertainment at most;ly coaching holiday hotels. In addition to this I design websites, and have a good working computer / internet knowledge. |
What Im Looking For
I'm at the stage of my career where I have recently been working up to 300 shows a year, and would like to offer my transferable professional skills. My organisational skills are excellent, my communicative skills are also excellent. I can recruit, and train a team of professionals. I have looked after and booked the entertainment at venues, large and small both locally and nationally. I have 30 years first class professional experience in this field. Since 1990, I have worked closely with coach tour operators, both in the marketing of hotels to them and entertaining their guests once they arrive. Since March 1990 I have been running and marketing my own company . The main operation of the company is to provide quality, professional entertainment to hotels and venues in and around the South West of England and Scotland. hotel with an annual turnover in excess of £1.7m. hotel complex comprising

monitoring of all department staffing levels,budgetary controls, compilation of
daily tabular ledger and all aspects of the marketing to ensure the smooth day
to day running of a major Cornish hotel. |

including the compilation of a full fortnightly entertainment programme including

park has closed down due to council disputes, but in its time was one of the biggest
and hi-tech holiday parks in the UK. Capacity of 12,000+ weekly guests, three
large theatres, 12 entertainment staff. I was part of a very busy team. |

was working at the time as a compere/entertainer with Ladbroke Holidays for 4
years. Working as part of a national holiday entertainment company gave me valuable

entertainers throughout the UK at 32 holiday parks. |
